Because Life's Too Short.
Grab a cup, it's about to get serious.
There have been a series of events in my life these past few years that make me ask myself, "What are you doing with your life?"
Sure. I work full-time and am attending college part-time (to finish up my Bachelor's Degree), oh and I just got that new great job...
BUT.... seriously. What am I doing with my life?
Day in and day out, it's the same routine.
Blah. Blah. Blah.
I'm not happy.
You can call it a Quarter-Life Crisis. You can call it Not Knowing What the Hell You Want to be When You Grow Up. Or, you can call it Indecisiveness.
Either way, this is a true statement: Life is too short.
Life is too short to not love what you do everyday.
Life is too short to not try new things.
Life is too short not to live every day to it's fullest.
It's time to pursue something I love, enjoy, & am truly passionate about.
Photography.
While I still need to keep my full time job {why didn't I marry somebody rich again? Ha! kidding husband.. kidding}, I am making time to take a photography class this winter/spring.
It is every Tuesday evening, January thru May, and it starts in a week.
And by golly, I'm going to love it.
Who knows what it will bring, what doors it may open, or what new people I may meet. For those uncertainties, I am delighted.
And if brings me nothing but self-filled joy... it will have been worth it.
I encourage you to make it a point this twenty-thriteen, to do something you love.

Good for you! I am glad you are doing something for you. I love photography too, and would like to take a class maybe sometime in the future.
Awesome! You really are a talented photographer...your pictures are always amazing. Can wait to hear about your class!
great attitude! i'm sure it will all fall into place!
Um, I can relate to this on so many levels. That's why I started my new venture. Will it bring home a ton of money? No, but is it what I love, yes? We have to at least try and reach for the stars and our dreams or we will never be fulfilled. I am proud of you!
I am so proud of you! I love the pictures you take now and can't wait to see what you learn from the class. You ARE amazing!

Good for you, Katie! Life is too short to wonder what you could be doing, or if you'd be happier somewhere else. I say go for it!
