A Visit from Jack Frost

I woke up last Saturday morning to some beautiful hoarfrost -- an odd name, but beautiful sight none-the-less -- and I knew it had to documented.



{This is my very first time using Manuel on my camera too, that photography class sure is paying off!}

Guess there are a few perks to living in Wisconsin.

We have this too...we always just call it freezing fog. Good to know it's actual name! I almost slipped on the stuff in the church parking lot on Sunday. It's beautiful but I sure would dig some warmth out here!! :) em

These pictures are gooooorgeous! Your photography class certainly is paying off...these belong in a magazine! Course you've BEEN a great photographer...but I'm sure you're learning all sorts of new things. I should take a class too...I know nothing about our camera :/.

these are beautiful! Winter can be gorgeous. It's scary to go to using Manual and go off of Auto! but these look fantastic, great job!
